Getting to Hotel

Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is located 30 km from the city. The airport connects the city to many destinations across the globe. From Da Nang airport, the best solution for reaching Thanh Van 1 Hotel would be to either hire a taxi, which would mean taking on a driver who does not understand the language, or preferable yet pre-booking a private car. The journey is very simple. It takes between 45 and 60 minutes from the airport to the hotel. Another option which is very popular and often cheaper is booking through a ride-hailing app like Grab.

Although not so comfortable, but much more budget-friendly than taking a taxi, several shuttle bus operators run very frequent services from Da Nang Airport to the Hoi An town center. These shared shuttles are very comfortable and will offer excellent value for money being dropped at or very close to your hotel. Recommended to book a shuttle in advance online during peak season to secure a seat.

Alternatively, although less comfortable, visitors can travel by local public bus. It’s the cheapest way but from the airport to Da Nang central bus station and then to Hoi An by the yellow Bus #1, you have to take a cab and this obviously takes time. It’s the more adventurous way of going and fits in with a great backpacking spirit. For people traveling from other parts of Vietnam, regular long-distance buses will arrive at Hoi An bus station. The hotel is a short taxi or ‘cyclo’ ride from there.
